Once in a Lifetime Opportunity for Wisconsinites

MADISON – Foxconn, the world's largest electronics contract manufacturer, is investing $10 billion into Wisconsin. This investment is having a ripple effect across Wisconsin from construction workers to veterans.  During yesterday’s groundbreaking ceremony, three Wisconsin construction workers – who are already feeling the ripple effect – shared how Foxconn is helping them:

Celia Griffin, Kenosha – Haul Truck Operator

Celia Griffin is a mother of three living in Kenosha with her husband. She has had the opportunity to work with both Gilbane Building Company, Foxconn’s lead contractor, and Foxconn subcontractor Hoffman Construction, making this a perfect fit for Celia and her family.

Dawn Wallace, Racine – Builder

Dawn Wallace stayed at home with her three kids while her husband Dave worked in construction to support their family. Now, Dawn is a stay-at-home mom turned builder, who is taking advantage of exciting new job opportunities as a member of the Foxconn project team.

Chris Koski, Appleton  – Project Manager

Chris Koski, a project manager for Hoffman Construction, has worked in the construction industry for over two decades. Chris has led teams through projects across the state, so he knows firsthand why the owners of Foxconn chose to build here in Wisconsin.
