Madison—Governor Scott Walker recently declared January 30 through February 5, 2011 as Catholic Schools Week.
“Catholic Schools Week celebrates the 325 parochial schools in Wisconsin and the 60,000 children who attend them,” Governor Scott Walker said. “Catholic schools provide exceptional educational opportunities for children across the state and it is important for us to recognize their achievements.”
Governor Walker will honor Catholic Schools Week by visiting St. James Catholic School in Madison and reading a story to children.
