You may also wish to review the provisions of SCR Chapter 60 that apply to a sitting judge or a candidate for a judicial office, including SCR 60.06(5), which states that "[a] judge or candidate for judicial office shall not knowingly personally solicit or accept endorsements from parties who have a case pending before the court to which election or appointment is sought."
