Governor Walker Announces Details of the Capitol Christmas Tree
Madison—Today, Governor Scott Walker announced additional details about the Capitol Christmas Tree. The 2012 Capitol Christmas Tree was selected from Meyer’s Castle Tree Farm in Medford, Wisconsin.
“The handmade ornaments for the tree made by children across the state will complete the ‘In Wisconsin’ theme,” said Governor Scott Walker. “Wisconsin is a great place to live, work, and raise a family. I’m excited to see all of these great aspects of our state symbolized on this year’s tree.”
The Balsam Fir will be decorated by the Department of Administration, culminating with a tree lighting ceremony on November 30th.
