Governor Walker Seeks Applicants for Sheriff of Grant County
Governor Scott Walker announced today that he is seeking applicants for appointment as sheriff in Grant County.
The appointment will fill the vacancy created by the forthcoming resignation of Sheriff Keith D. Govier. The new sheriff will begin serving August 14, 2012 and will complete a term ending January 1, 2015.
An applicant must reside in Grant County at the time the appointment becomes effective.
